On 15 July 2025, FinanSys welcomed customers, partners, and finance professionals to the Wellcome Collection in London for FinanSys25: Upgrade. Evolve. UniFi—a full-day event dedicated to the future of finance systems.
The agenda was packed with thought leadership, product demonstrations, and practical insights, offering attendees a hands-on look at the evolution and impact of Infor SunSystems Cloud and UniFi.
The day opened with a welcome from Glyn Coy, FinanSys’ Business Development Director, who set the tone for the event with a clear overview of FinanSys’ role in supporting digital transformation across finance teams.

This was followed by an in-depth session on Infor SunSystems Cloud, led by the Infor team who joined us for the event.
Charlotta Bergenstjerna, Senior Channel Account Manager at Infor, and Andrew Newman, VP and General Manager – Infor SunSystems, shared how FinanSys and Infor are driving SaaS success together.
Next up, Alex Marchant, Senior Manager of Product Management at Infor, shared how Infor SunSystems Cloud is transforming financial management.
The vision? To be the best-in-class global financials solution.
As Alex put it:
“Based upon our core financials strength, Infor SunSystems Cloud will deliver powerful embedded analytics and a modern, intuitive user experience. Our commitment is to maintain high configurability at both the application and vertical levels whilst positioning ourselves as the market-leading integrated financial application.”
Alex also gave participants a glimpse into what’s next for Infor SunSystems Cloud, including Open Banking, Banking APIs, Bank Reconciliation, and more.
The spotlight then shifted to UniFi, FinanSys’ next-gen Accounting, Finance and Business Process Automation platform, with our team taking attendees through a detailed walkthrough of its core features and use cases.
Annabel Healy, FinanSys’ Head of Account Management, opened the session with an overview of UniFi’s foundation, purpose and structure. She explained how the platform was built to solve real operational challenges by combining finance and workflow automation in a single environment.
Her introduction set the context for the live demonstration that followed.
Matthew Sparkes, FinanSys’ Head of Customer Success, then delivered a live demo, taking attendees through UniFi’s end-to-end functionality across procurement, expense approvals, FX, real-time BI dashboards, autonomous processes, AI, and a wide range of use cases, all within a single platform.
Tim Truesdale, UniFi Product Director, followed with answers to technical questions from attendees on autonomous data capture (traditionally known as OCR, but UniFi takes it to the next level).
Andrew Reynolds, Senior SunSystems Consultant at FinanSys, also joined the conversation, engaging in direct interactions with the audience.
Delegates saw firsthand how UniFi simplifies complex finance workflows and improves operational efficiency.
After lunch, the afternoon began with a focused session outlining the key reasons to upgrade to Infor SunSystems Cloud.
Attendees heard practical arguments for moving away from on-premise setups, supported by real implementation outcomes.
Following this, a detailed demonstration explored the latest features in SunSystems Cloud, including a walkthrough of Infor Q&A Cloud. This session gave attendees a clear view of how reporting can be made faster and more flexible using the new version.
Tim Dervish, FinanSys’ Operations Director, led a session that presented FinanSys’ tested and trusted project delivery approach.
This helped attendees gain a clear understanding of how an upgrade or new system rollout would be planned and supported.
Led by Emma Kagan, we also conducted a session featuring a live case study from St Giles, one of FinanSys’ customers.
This real-world account helped bring earlier sessions into context and demonstrated the value of a joined-up approach to finance and process automation.
Guests had several opportunities to ask questions throughout the day, with dedicated Q&A sessions built into the agenda. These moments allowed attendees to engage directly with FinanSys consultants, product experts, and speakers, raising specific queries around implementation, functionality, and use cases.
Equally, drinks and snacks breaks at certain intervals throughout the day provided opportunities for peer interactions and networking.
From strategic roadmaps to real-time demos, FinanSys25 was a comprehensive showcase of how finance teams can upgrade, evolve, and automate with confidence.
Whether you’re exploring a move to the cloud or looking to automate your finance function, the event served as an inspiring reminder that the tools to transform your finance operations are already here.
